Family Fun at Wilderness Bay Resort



Many activities for all ages. Swimming, fishing, boating, hiking, playground, sandbox, horseshoes, volleyball plus other games. Boats, motors, pontoon, paddleboat and canoes available. Fire rings at each cabin for campfires. No jet ski's(personal watercraft please). ATV's must be trailered in and out of the resort, no riding within the resort. SWIMMING BEACH We offer a safe, sandy swimming beach. It's complete with a large swimming raft for the bigger people and a kid's dock and toys for the little people.

STORE In our store we have pop, candy, ice cream snacks, pizza and some grocery items. We also sell some live bait and fishing tackle. We also have books, magazines, kid's games and puzzles in the lodge. There are dvd movies available for rent for watching in the comfort of your cabin. GAME ROOM/LAUNDRY The game room and laundry are available spring, summer and fall. There are video games, pool table and coin operated washers and dryers.
ATTRACTIONS	Being only four miles south of Itasca State Park is an attraction in itself. Home of the Mississippi River Headwaters, it offers many hiking and biking trails among the great Norway Pines. Other area attractions include Summerhill Farm, Rapid River Logging Camp, World of Christmas, Wood Tick Theater, Tamarac Wildlife Refugee & the Heartland Bike Trail. Several golf courses in the area, including Headwaters Golf Club, with the courses having a Golf Week with discount specials.


WINTER FUN You may get on your snowmobile at the cabin and go less than a quarter of a mile to the main trail system, which leads to Itasca State Park to the North and Two Inlets State Park to the South. We are less than a ten minute drive into Itasca State Park for very good cross country skiing.
